[Somoksobok] Square Box

Somoksobok is two Korean wood craft artisans that reinterprets Korean traditional crafts with a contemporary touch, offering pieces that seamlessly blend functionality and artistry. Each item, handcrafted with meticulous care, is more than just a product—it’s a piece of art infused with time and tradition. 

The square box was created with a swimming pool motif. On the lid that looks like a swimming rail, images of people enjoying swimming were drawn using
mother-of-pearl, a traditional craft.
